The March 1800 drawings concern designs for a temporary plaque in honor of the late American General George Washington in the orchestra hall of the Felix Meritis Society of Arts and Sciences in Amsterdam and were made by the architect Bartholomeus Wilhelmus Henricus Ziesenis (1768-1820).
